This Privacy Policy explains what information Vidsync ("we", "us") collects when you use vidsync.online (the "Service"), and how we use, store, and protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: the email address and password you use to sign up. Your password is never stored in plain text.
Project content: the images, audio files, project settings, and titles you upload or create while using the editor, saved so you can return to your work later.
Basic usage data: information such as when your project was last edited, needed to run autosave and show your project list.

We do not collect payment card details ourselves — if you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider, and we do not store your card or full payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and secure your account, and let you sign in.
To save your projects automatically and let you resume them from your dashboard.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
To communicate with you about your account (for example, email confirmation or password reset).

We do not sell your personal information or Your Content to third parties.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account data and project files are stored using Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage) and served through Cloudflare. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Access to your project files is restricted so that only your own account can read or modify them.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual projects from your dashboard at any time, which also removes their associated media files from storage. If you want your entire account and all associated data deleted, contact us using the details below.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between visits. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-control rules that restrict each account to its own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
